G Suite, Google's cloud-based function software platform, has made remote collaboration simpler than always. Sharing and creating documents tin can be done in a snap, and locally stored files can exist uploaded and shared via Google drive as well.

Remote workers who are new to Google Bulldoze need to start with the basics, like how to upload a file. There are two ways to upload documents, photos, videos, and other types of images to Google Drive, and both tin can be done in a snap.

Method i: How to elevate and driblet

Drag and drop files or click the New button to add files to your Google Drive.

Browse to a file to "drag and drop" it into your Google Bulldoze.

Open the Google Bulldoze folder you want to upload the document to in your web browser, and then open up the folder where the document you want to upload is located, using the Finder in macOS or the Explorer in Windows.

Click and hold on the document you desire to upload, drag it to the Google Drive window (Figure C), and and then release it.

It may take a few seconds to upload the file, during which time a window in the bottom-right corner of your Google Drive page will show the upload status. In one case complete, you'll see the file listed in your Google Drive folder (Figure D), and you'll be fix to share information technology with others.

Method ii: How to use the New button

If you prefer to browse to the file you want to upload instead of dragging and dropping, that's possible as well.

With Google Drive open up, similar in Figure A, look for the colorful plus sign next to the word New on the left side of the screen. Click that button, and you'll be presented with a number of options (Figure E).

Clicking the New button gives yous a drop-down menu of options.

In this case, we want to upload a file, so click File Upload. If you have a whole folder full of documents to upload, you can practise that as well–merely click the option right beneath File Upload, and select the folder you want to copy to Google Drive.

When you click File Upload, a Finder/Explorer window will open. Navigate to the document you want to upload, and click Open up (Effigy F).

Select the file, and click Open to load it to your Google Drive.

After clicking Open up, the upload process continues equally it did with the drag-and-drop method. Once Google Drive finishes the upload, you'll be able to share the certificate with whoever needs it.
